VCU Brandcenter 2023 - Business of Branding
The goal of this project was to pick a brand with a unique and challenge problem, and find a creative means to solve it. After researching potential brands, we decided upon Spotify’s podcasting division and their lack of revenue. Much of this project involved researching Spotify’s target audience, their business strategies, and their finances to find out how to solve this problem. While there were many problems and many solutions, the strategy line we created to inform our campaign and its deliverables ended up being “no topic too niche”, as we desired to move past the times of Spotify solely promoting its exclusive podcasts and instead make it easier to find podcasts for whatever it is that you may enjoy.
